Learning in the age of coronavirus

With the surface of the corona virus. I feel like education everywhere will change. Everything is being cancelled, schools, sporting events, convention, etc. Harvard, one of the ivy league schools has also closed their campus due to the fact that they realize just how real and concerning this pandemic is. This will also take a drastic toll on the economy once no schools are in session. Its really scary to think about because of how serious this virus has become that it may jeopardize my education and other students. Online schools may be hard for some students who do not have internet connection or struggle to get some.

Gatsby tells nick that he had waited for Daisy up until it was 4 o clock in the morning . Daisy did not come out, neither did Tom. Gatsby claims that Daisy never loved Tom. Nick advises Gatsby to leave long island so he could forget about Daisy and start a new life someone else but Gatsby feels that it is as if he were abandoning Daisy (who clearly does not want anything to do with him. Gatsby tells Nick about the last time he and Daisy left each other. He explains how in love they were and how Daisy promised she would wait for Gatsby to come back. Though Gatsby came back, Daisy had found someone while Gatsby was away. Daisy was the first "nice girl" Gatsby met and he fell in love with every part of her. Chapter 7

A t this point Gatsby stops having parties because he is distracted from the party scene in his attempt to lure Daisy back to him. Gatsby decides to fire his staff because he is scared that someone is going to spread rumors about Daisy being at his house. The new servants are more secretive though they can be disobedient. Wolfsheim knows people who will keep quiet, this makes him even more intimidating. Daisy reacts with fake love towards her daughter Pammy as she enters the room and Gatsby is quite shocked that Daisy did all of this in her time without him. The outing in New York was when Tom, Jordan, Gatsby, Nick, and Daisy all head to the city but stop to get gasoline and runs into his mistresses husband. Then Tom gets angry at the thought of losing his mistress and his wife...With the fear of this thought becoming real he confronted Gatsby upon the arrival to the city. I would say that Tom won and Gatsby lost because in the end Gatsby did not get to play out the fantasy that has

Chapter 6

Gatsby tells his real story, not one that someone else made up. Gatsby was very poor but grew up wanting to gain success and the luxury lifestyle he was shown by Dan Cody. Gatsby became notorious, he was well known for being charming and being capable of making you want to be his friend. Everyone wants to know about Gatsby but no one takes the time to get to really know him. At this point Gatsby has built a powerful and successful life for himself just like he wanted.

Famous wealthy people in the book are miserable. Gatsby has notorious friends that are well known for their actions. Jay Gatsby loved Daisy and daisy loved Jay but she married Tom Buchanan. Daisy changes her mind about marrying tom but still went through with it.
